The phony memory of
St. Floyd There are certainly enough legitimate cases of death or gross mistreatment at the hands of police. The victims have been white and black. The police officers have been white and black. Some instances involved officers genuinely concerned that the “victim” was reaching for a weapon. Some have been at the hands of corrupt psychopath police officers.
George Floyd was not an example of police injustice. He was not a victim of racism and he certainly was not a hero or saint. Murals in his honor are nonsense.
There are legitimate concerns over cases of police brutality and excess. George Floyd’s death is not one of them.
